Update: APRIL 2, 2020
Please note that due to our concerns about the spread of COVID-19, and the safety and well-being of our audience members, musicians, artists, and staff we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of our 2019/20 season. The ticket policies below have changed as a result of this cancellation. Please visit this page for more information and to access ticket cancellation options.
Ticket buyers may exchange their tickets for another performance of the same opera or for a performance of a different opera within a season. Seating is subject to availability, so we recommend making exchanges as early as possible.
Ticket exchanges must be made at least two full business days prior to the performance you are moving out of or into, whichever is earlier.
Subscriber Exchange Fees: Your first exchange of tickets for a given production is FREE. A $5 per-ticket fee applies to all subsequent exchanges for the same production.
Single Ticket Buyer Exchange Fees: A $10 per-ticket exchange fee applies to all exchanges made by single ticket buyers.
Exchange by phone: Call us at 503-241-1802. Please have your tickets in hand—they have key information that we need in order to process a phone exchange.
Exchange by mail: Mail your tickets to the Box Office (211 SE Caruthers St Portland, OR 97214) with a note telling us the date you would like to exchange into, any information about your specific seating requests, and a daytime phone number in case we have questions. We’ll mail your new tickets to you. If your exchange is received less than one week before your new performance, we will hold your tickets at the box office for you to pick up prior to the performance.
Exchange in person: Bring your tickets to the Hampton Opera Center at 211 SE Caruthers St., Mon-Fri, 10am-5pm.
Exchanges cannot be made at theater box offices on performances dates.
All sales are final. No refunds.
Ticket prices and artistic personnel are subject to change without notice.
