Enjoy an evening of exceptional chamber music when the spotlight shines on bass baritone NICHOLAS NELSON in his second Portland Opera Studio Artists Recital. This is the perfect opportunity to experience an intimate performance of the rising young artist called “outstanding” by Oregon Music News.
Mr. Nelson’s recital program is a true reflection of his multi-faceted talents and command of diverse repertoire. He will open the recital with four Renaissance lute songs by John Dowland, accompanying himself on the guitar. Then Portland Opera Associate Music Director ROBERT AINSLEY will join him for works by Franz Schubert, Hanns Eisler and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
